Do you want to be surrounded by awesome non-monogamy community? Do you want to make friends with like interests? Is your heart ready to share the wonder of being immersed in a conference filled with phenomenal speakers, innovative workshops, and bountiful social opportunities? Then we want you to come to OpenSF 2012! OpenSF is being held at the Holiday Inn in San Francisco. The adventure begins the evening of June 8th and culminates the night of June 10th.
Your conference fee covers all daytime hotel workshops and events for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Also included is the Saturday evening Poly Speed Dating event and free entry into the Saturday vendor’s room. In addition, your conference badge will get you discounted (though not free) entry to our affiliated events and parties, like Pink at Mission Control. Some session restrictions will apply as certain seminars will focus on a restricted demographic (polyfidelitous, women, etc).
We aim to have an affordable conference with a discounted registration plan that rewards early conference registrants.
- $40 Jan 1st and before
- $50 Jan 2nd through Feb 20th
- $60 Feb 21st through April 30th
- $80 in May or June
- $100 at the door
In order to maintain our affordable pricing, one-day tickets or keynote-only tickets are not available. Also to keep the tickets affordable, OpenSF will not be providing food or meals during the event.
For the same reason of keeping entry affordable, there are NO REFUNDS or transfers of OpenSF tickets.
Volunteer slots are all full! We have had a strong response from people who want to volunteer and we no longer need the extra help.
During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to join two email lists. The first is a list used solely for announcements about OpenSF and affiliated events. The second is a discussion list where attendees and presenters can post. Your email address will be kept private, though of course if you post to the discussion list others will see it.
OpenSF strives to be a comfortable and welcoming environment. Hate speech and harassment will not be tolerated. Ask people before touching them. Due to hotel rules nudity is not allowed at the conference proper, although a number of the affiliated parties will allow nudity and sexuality.
While we make no guarantees, we will try to accommodate translation needs (for example ASL, Spanish) and fulfill different types of accessibility needs. We will also try to help set up childcare pools at an additional cost to parents. Please indicate in your registration if either of these is desired. The conference hotel is fully wheelchair accessible.
The OpenSF organizers reserve the right to exclude particular people or to revoke admission at any time, including during the conference. This is so we can deal with people who are creating a significantly uncomfortable environment for others.
